Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is seeking a Logistics Dispatcher in Niles, IL to manage daily routing, dispatching, and delivery planning for distribution orders.

You will monitor DOT compliance, improve processes, utilize dispatch software, and communicate with the distribution center to meet labor and equipment needs. Shift options include multiple schedules with full-time hours. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401K match, PTO, and education reimbursement benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 0–2 years of related experience or HS/GED with 3–5+ years of related experience.
• Experience in distribution/logistics and routing.
• Ability to analyze data and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily routing, dispatching, and tracking of delivery vehicles.
• Monitor DOT compliance, productivity, safety, and improvement opportunities.
• Use dispatch/load software to identify lowest cost delivery solutions.
• Provide daily communication to distribution center on labor/equipment needs.
• Monitor route performance and hours-of-service data and address issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Shift: Full Time, Various shifts: Tuesday-Saturday, 2pm start time / Sunday-Thursday, 2pm start time
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Match, PTO, Education Reimbursement
• Salary: $59,011 - $73,764 plus annual target bonus

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily routing, dispatching, and tracking delivery vehicles of distribution and transportation planning orders
• Monitors DOT Compliance, productivity, safety, and assists local management on identifying areas of improvement with the process
• Utilize dispatching and load creation software to identify and provide the lowest cost delivery solutions with continuous improvement of DSD processes and database of information to identify improvements in driver productivity
• Provide daily communication to distribution center and delivery minimum expectations on labor and equipment needs based on volume and workload
• Monitors route performance and logistics through analysis of data from computer systems and reviews on-board data for hours-of-service problems and gives daily feedback of compliance problems and customer issues
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 3 to 5 plus years of related experience
