Job summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Operator in Hayward, CA for a full-time role on first and second shifts. The position starts as a temporary assignment through a staffing agency with potential conversion to full-time based on performance and business needs.

You will handle shipping and receiving tasks, verify orders, and input data into the MIS system, working with vendors and the logistics team to ensure timely processing and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend internal and external documents such as work order travelers, inventory records, bill of lading and packing slip documents, logs, and general company records, as well as customer packing slips or purchase orders.
• Has basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Has an appreciation for timeliness, quality, and punctuality.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Forklift certification highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify parts against purchase orders/packing slips.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and logistics team.
• Inventory parts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow operating procedures for packaging and processing.
• Use MIS systems and peripherals (scanners, printers).
• Follow packaging instructions on work orders.
• Generate packing labels and shipper information.
• Schedule pickups and track shipments.
• Maintain and file all work order travelers.
• Keep assigned areas organized and clean.
