Job summary

Acara Solutions in Nashville is seeking a Logistics Operator I for a 6‑month on‑site contract. You will handle shipping/receiving, inventory control, and logistics coordination to keep domestic and international operations moving smoothly.

You'll work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, generating shipping docs, supporting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies. Must have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of warehouse experience; SAP and forklift cert are a plus.

Qualifications

  • You must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including receiving intercompany purchase orders, preparing shipping documentation, and coordinating deliveries or customer pickups.
  • Generate shipping documentation including airway bills (AWB), invoices, Shipper’s Letters of Instruction (SLI), and other manual shipment paperwork.
  • Perform ‘Skip Lot’ and unit of measure (UOM) conversions.
  • Manage inventory movement by putting away stock, performing stock transfers, labeling, and packing/re‑packing materials as needed.
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records, including part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities.
  • Research and resolve shipment discrepancies, inventory issues, and material movement concerns.
  • Support overall warehouse operations by maintaining organization, processing manifests and volume transactions, and assisting with domestic and international shipping activities.
