Job Description

I. Job Profile

• Job Title: Logistics Operator
• Department: 2070 Logistics-Transportation
• Direct Supervisor: Logistics Supervisor
• Direct Subordinates: None

II. Job Summary

Loading/unloading of all types of glass, requiring forklift skills for safe handling.

III. Job Functions and Duties

1. Support loading/unloading of raw material, semi-finished, and finished products.
2. Ensure proper storage locations and FIFO procedures.
3. Inspect forklift for maintenance needs and perform daily safety checks.
4. Visually inspect products for quality or quantity discrepancies and ensure proper containers are used.
5. Scan products, truck assignments, storage locations, and complete shipments in the PLEX system.
6. Follow health and safety procedures and related work instructions.
7. Assist team with process improvements.
8. Perform 5S and housekeeping duties daily.
9. Assist with department projects, including putting away empty racks.
10. Submit monthly improvement suggestions.
11. Follow customer loading and securing requirements.
12. Complete shipping confirmation/load forms for shipments.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

IV. Qualifications

Language: English (reading, understanding safety rules, instructions).

Experience: 1-3 years manufacturing experience or equivalent.

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Physical: Ability to stand, reach, bend, squat, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass strength requirements.

Visual Acuity: Near, far, depth perception, color vision, field of vision.

Work environment: Moderate noise, safety gear required.

Other Requirements

Mathematical skills, reasoning ability, computer skills (ERP/Microsoft Office).

Good attendance, forklift operation experience, knowledge of work instructions and TS16949 systems.

Training: Forklift driver and material handler experience preferred. Fuyao forklift license required.

Work Environment

Occasional exposure to extreme heat. Safety gear required.
