Job summary

Checon, LLC, a division of Alloy Holdings, is seeking a dependable Logistics Operator in Glens Falls, NY. The role involves hands-on material handling, order preparation, and SAP data entry to support our manufacturing logistics.

Training is paid, with a first shift 7:30 AM–4:00 PM schedule and competitive hourly pay based on experience. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in shipping or related fields, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
• Basic computer and inventory system experience is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organization and communication skills.
• Reliability and safety-focused mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate or learn forklift and lifting equipment.
• Monday–Friday schedule with weekends and major holidays off.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, pack, and move materials.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Weigh and label materials accurately.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Prepare shipping and customer documentation.
• Enter transactions and orders into SAP and other systems.
• Assist with scheduling shipments and working with carriers.
• Participate in physical inventory counts.
• Operate forklifts, stackers, and overhead cranes as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
