Job summary

GRI Towers Texas, Inc. is seeking a logistics support specialist to coordinate shipments, manage carrier relationships, and monitor loads from intake to delivery. You will use SAP/WMS and other systems to track status, document activity, and ensure timely operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, fluent English, and 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience. Bilingual ability is a plus in a fast-paced distribution environment, with equal emphasis on accuracy and customer

• Performs other duties to support smooth warehouse operations.

Job description

General Description/ ObjectiveSupport successful logistics operations through movement, loading, unloading, and delivery of product and materials using a wide variety of material handling equipment at highly proficient level (examples: forklift, reach stacker operations, sky track operations, pallet jack, Switcher). Operate various support systems and equipment to document logistics activity (examples: Inventory management system(s), labeling systems,). Operate simple machinery to support product movement activities (examples: palletizer, pallet wrapper, dock equipment). Relieve operators in variety of positions to support uninterrupted plant/logistics operations.Roles and TasksCreates and coordinate deliveries of shipments in transportation with carriers.Provides and maintain effective customer service while monitoring their corresponding loadsPossess understanding of managing shipment and transportationResearches and manage status of all open loadsUtilizes and update company logistics systems dailyPerforms other duties and responsibilities as requested for the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse.These roles and tasks are only enunciative but not limitative.
