Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Logistics Supervisor in Reno to oversee a 60-employee logistics group and seven direct reports. You will drive KPI analytics, monitor daily operations, and ensure accuracy across receiving and inventory. The role focuses on coaching staff, enforcing safety standards, and improving processes.

The candidate will manage timecards via ADP, support staffing and scheduling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. On-site position in Nevada.

Qualifications

• Experience leading logistics or warehouse teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 7 direct reports within a logistics department of ~60 employees.
• Create, maintain, and analyze KPIs to measure department performance.
• Monitor daily logistics, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations for efficiency and accuracy.
• Process and manage employee timecards through ADP.
• Coach, train, and develop team members with ongoing performance feedback.
• Ensure adherence to policies, safety standards, and SOPs.
• Support staffing, scheduling, workflow planning, and resource allocation.
• Review operational metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and customer requirements.
• Assist with maintaining SOPs and best practices.
• Support overtime and occasional weekend operations as needed.
