Job summary
Gentex Corporation in Manchester, NH, is seeking a Material Handling & Logistics Supervisor to oversee receiving, inventory, issuing, and shipping of materials and equipment in the stockroom. You will manage daily material flow, optimize layouts, ensure records accuracy, and coordinate with Buyers, Sales, and Customer Service to support on‑time orders and customer needs.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma (BA/BS preferred), 5+ years in shipping/receiving, SAP experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; BA/BS preferred.
- 5+ years in shipping/receiving.
- SAP experience preferred; Excel/Word/Outlook proficiency.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and MAPICS/INFOR is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee receiving, inventory, issuing, shipping, and equipment movement.
- Manage stockroom layout considering turnover, size, weight, and storage factors.
- Advise employees on care and handling of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and equipment.
- Maintain and review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
- Schedule work for inventories and drive process improvements.
- Coordinate with Buyers to resolve invoicing and receipt issues and support cycles.
