Job summary

Norwood Medical is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling within our Dayton, OH facility. You will drive efficiency in warehouse operations and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and customer deliveries.

The role requires leadership experience in manufacturing logistics, proficiency with ERP systems, and strong analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, or similar inventory management systems.
• Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, and transportation management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory control, and material handling activities to support manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate movement of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to meet delivery commitments.
• Monitor inventory levels and material availability and elevate supply concerns impacting production schedules or deliveries.
• Develop and report logistics metrics including on-time shipments, inventory accuracy, cycle count compliance, and freight costs.
• Lead cycle count and inventory reconciliation activities and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
