EXPEDITORS INTERNATIONAL is seeking a Transportation Operations Specialist for an on-site role in the Henderson/Las Vegas area. You will execute standard workflows, coordinate with customers, 3PLs, carriers, and warehouses to meet KPIs and drive performance while controlling costs.

The role emphasizes issue resolution, data analytics, and collaboration across departments to ensure timely, compliant transportation of goods. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and/or transportation.
• Solid experience with ERP, TMS, and WMS logistics software.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard operational workflows coordinating with customers, 3PLs, carriers, and warehouses to meet KPIs.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to improve customer satisfaction.
• Arrange transportation considering cost, transit time, and mode of transport.
• Drive carrier and service provider performance for Hub and Spoke locations.
• Manage transportation for warehouse inbound and outbound activities and capacity.
• Provide data analytics to improve transportation efficiency at assigned locations.
• Coordinate with multiple parties to resolve delivery issues and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as a primary contact for internal departments, vendors, and customers.
