Job summary

Ground Logistics in Seaford, DE is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily FedEx pickup and delivery operations. You will supervise drivers, coordinate dispatch and routes, and ensure safety and DOT compliance in partnership with FedEx leadership.

This hands-on leadership role requires flexibility, with early mornings, extended days, or weekend involvement. Ground Logistics offers weekly pay, PTO, health/dental/vision, telemedicine, uniforms, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and calmly.
• High personal accountability and reliability.
• Must be available six days per week (Mon-Sat).
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, Amazon, DHL, Walmart delivery, or similar logistics environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FedEx pickup and delivery operations.
• Directly manage drivers and supervisors and hire/train staff.
• Coordinate dispatch, route planning, and execution.
• Ensure safety training, DOT compliance, and vehicle readiness.
• Maintain strong FedEx terminal partnership and problem solve in real time.
