Job summary

Carvana in Concord, NC is seeking a management-level leader to oversee multiple teams at the Logistics Field Operation location, coordinating transportation operations and ensuring safe, efficient delivery of goods.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, reviewing daily route schedules, and aligning site goals with broader operations. The role requires 3+ years in logistics and knowledge of DOT compliance, with the ability to lead and develop people.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• 3+ years of logistics or supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transportation operations needs at assigned locations in coordination with other site leaders.
• Participate in the development of site specific goals and objectives, and ensure alignment and effective execution within the site.
• Review and evaluate daily route schedules and work with Logistics Operations Planning and Scheduling to address issues and deficiencies.
• Providing mentoring and accountability to, direct reports and succession planning through coaching, leadership development and training, and performance management.
• Ensure work areas meet or exceed applicable workplace safety standards, including GEMBA walks.
• Ensure timely and effective communication with internal teams.
• Coordinate and monitor the movement of inventory on the ground through the warehouse workflow; distribute work and assigned shifts to meet business needs.
