Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Logistics Manager in Columbus, OH to oversee the efficient operation of accounts within the Supply Chain Solutions division. The role includes P&L responsibility, payroll, vendor management, and customer invoicing, with a 4:30 PM–2:00 AM schedule and overtime during peak season.

The ideal candidate will lead diverse teams, drive performance, and ensure safety compliance while collaborating with senior leadership and customers to meet expectations.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
• 3+ years relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse.
• 2+ years managing direct reports.
• Excellent knowledge of transportation/warehouse logistics operations.
• Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage salaried and hourly employees, resolve performance issues, and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to meet needs and expectations.
• Responsible for payroll of employees.
• Analyze weekly and monthly P&L and report profitability to management.
• Handle accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Hold safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
