Job summary

LyondellBasell, a global chemical leader, seeks a Logistics Operations leader in Houston to drive safe, compliant, and cost-efficient logistics execution. You will coach teams, manage staffing and continuity, and partner across Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Transportation to improve end-to-end performance.

You will lead incident containment, root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions while ensuring documentation and controls meet regulatory and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication for business documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for Logistics Operations Specialists.
• Ensure safe, compliant, cost-effective execution of logistics operations.
• Lead daily prioritization, staffing, handoffs, and continuity planning.
• Establish expectations, standard work, escalation paths, and accountability.
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve end-to-end performance.
• Lead incidents containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
