Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a logistics-focused professional in Phoenix to interpret and present KPIs to management, drive corrective actions, and lead the design and implementation of new business processes.

The role emphasizes process improvement to boost service levels and reduce costs across regional operations. The position involves coordinating with Outsourced Logistics Providers, performing data reconciliations, and supporting cost estimates and demand forecasts for logistics

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 2-4 years experience.

Responsibilities

Interpret, analyse, and present metrics/KPIs to Management; SAP knowledge is a plus.
Drive corrective actions with appropriate groups to improve metrics and address exceptions.
Lead the design and implementation of new business processes.
Develop and drive process improvement projects to increase service level performance and/or minimize costs.
Project scope is moderate in complexity with regional impact; includes integration with Outsourced Logistics Operations providers.
Weekly review of process control exceptions resulting in distribution quality non-conformance issues.
Develop root cause and corrective actions with outsourced and regional logistics partners.
Support cost estimates and demand forecasts for logistics modeling and tracking.
Perform reconciliations, validations and audits of warehouse inventory operations.
Collaborate with Management to implement corrective actions.
