Job summary

Vertiv's Pelzer manufacturing campus seeks a Logistics Supervisor to lead daily inbound and outbound logistics, coordinate transportation, and ensure on-time shipments. You will guide cross-functional teams across Warehouse, Materials, Planning, Production, and Customer Service to optimize flows and reliability.

You will establish standard work, monitor KPIs, coach the logistics team, and drive continuous improvement in a fast paced environment with safety and accuracy at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, supply chain, or manufacturing.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of inbound and outbound transportation operations.
• Experience coordinating carriers, freight movements, and high‑volume shipping operations.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics activities across the Pelzer operation.
• Manage transportation planning, carrier scheduling, truck coordination, and shipment execution.
• Ensure shipments are planned and executed in alignment with production and customer requirements.
• Partner with Warehouse, Planning, Materials, and Production teams to align on shipping priorities.
• Ensure all shipping documentation, system transactions, BOLs, and supporting records are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor carrier performance and transportation risks, ensuring timely resolution.
