Job summary

Assa Abloy Group is seeking a Logistics Supervisor at our Ontario, CA location to lead warehouse operations and coordinate end-to-end logistics. You will manage daily activities, drive improvements, and foster a safety-first culture across a team of warehouse staff.

You will oversee inbound/outbound processes, monitor KPIs like OFR, manage cross-docking and 3PL relationships, and champion cost-effective, on-time shipments while mentoring staff and promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of logistics/warehouse leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience with cross-docking, shipping standards, packaging, and inventory control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with WMS and TMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, inventory put-away, order picking, staging, and outbound shipping.
• Route materials to internal departments such as production, welding, modification, paint, and shipping.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment using 5S and lean principles.
• Monitor and maintain an Order Fill Rate (OFR) above 95%.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including cross-docking, 3PL management, and carrier scheduling.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective shipments and deliveries.
• Monitor freight costs, delivery performance, and shipment accuracy.
• Resolve transportation issues such as delays, damage claims, and system discrepancies.
• Analyze logistics data to support forecasting and planning.
• Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse staff.
