Job summary

Ground Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager for FedEx pickup and delivery in Seaford, Delaware. This hands-on leader will oversee daily operations, hire and train drivers and supervisors, ensure vehicle readiness, and maintain a strong partnership with FedEx leadership to drive performance.

You will be present in the terminal, solve problems in real time, and maintain safety and culture across the team.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing drivers and supervisors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to operate safely and maintain DOT compliance.
• Hands-on, able to make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispatch, route planning, and execution.
• Lead driver and supervisor development and accountability.
• Coordinate safety training, ride-alongs, and DOT compliance.
• Maintain a strong partnership with FedEx terminal management.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and operational readiness.
• Take ownership to keep the operation running at a high level.
