Job summary

Roadtex is offering a Transportation Operations Internship at our Woodridge facility. You will work closely with the transportation team to assist daily operations, gain hands-on experience in logistics, inventory management, and warehouse processes, and contribute to process design and documentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a related field such as Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
• Candidate should be organized, coachable, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking inventory levels and updating records in the warehouse management system.
• Help with receiving shipments, verifying quantities, and packing orders for shipment.
• Contribute to process design and documentation, including SOP development and implementation.
• Support quality control by checking products for defects and ensuring standards are met.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment and optimize storage layouts.
• Enter data accurately in systems and ensure shipment details are up to date.
• Adhere to safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
