You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods, managing schedules, and liaising with drivers and clients to maintain seamless operations. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport and logistics operations, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
• Manage and update driver schedules and route plans, optimizing for efficiency.
• Liaise with drivers to provide clear instructions, monitor progress, and address any immediate issues.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and driver activities using company software.
• Communicate effectively with customers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve logistical challenges promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and transport laws.
• Assist in tracking inventory and managing warehouse logistics as needed.
• Generate daily and weekly operational reports for management review.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics, dispatch, or transport coordination role.
• Strong understanding of local road networks within the Upington, Northern Cape region and surrounding areas.
• Proficiency in using logistics software, route planning tools, and standard office applications (MS Office Suite).
