Logistics & Operations Coordinator

Kobelco Construction Machinery in Katy, TX is looking to hire a full-time Logistics & Operations Coordinator to provide daily support to the field sales team and our customers while being the valuable link between them. This Logisitcs position earns a competitive salary of $50,000 - $55,000 (DOE). We provide generous benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability, 17 days of paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k) with a company match of up to 6%.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOGISTICS & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

As a Logistics & Operations Coordinator, you play a key role in supporting the movement of Kobelco equipment and ensuring our daily operations run smoothly. Working closely with Sales, dealers, carriers, and external transportation partners, you coordinate equipment shipments, inbound inventory, and distribution activities. Your contribution is critical in ensuring timely deliveries, accurate inventory, and responsive dealer support.

Using your organizational and communication skills, you coordinate transportation, track equipment movements, and maintain accurate inventory records. Staying organized, you prepare shipping documentation, maintain inventory and freight reports, and process operational expenses through SAP. Working with internal teams and external partners, you help resolve logistics challenges, maintain inventory accuracy, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. You find great satisfaction in keeping our equipment moving, supporting our dealers and sales team, and playing a vital role in the overall success of our company!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with SAP or a similar business system is a plus
