FTI is seeking a Transportation and Logistics Specialist in El Paso, TX to coordinate freight and delivery activities. The role involves planning, tracking, and documentation, ensuring safe, on-time movement of goods while complying with regulations.

You will work with carriers and internal teams, maintain accurate data in TMS/ERP, and support performance reporting. A background in logistics and DOT knowledge is a plus, with typical hours Monday–Friday.

Formación

• 1–3 years in transportation, shipping, or logistics support (2+ years preferred).
• Experience using TMS or ERP software; familiarity with shipping docs and freight terms.
• Knowledge of DOT and safety regulations is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily transportation operations including load planning, scheduling, and tracking shipments.
• Communicate with carriers and vendors to confirm shipping arrangements and provide updates.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment data in TMS or ERP systems.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation such as bills of lading, manifests, and delivery receipts.
• Monitor shipments in transit and assist with delays or exceptions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to transportation and safety.
• Coordinate with procurement, customer service, and materials to support timely deliveries.
• Assist in compiling reports and performance metrics.
• Identify and report areas for process improvement or cost reduction opportunities.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
