Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Groveport, OH is seeking an Operations Clerk to provide clerical and administrative support at the on-site facility. The role is Monday-Wednesday and Sunday 6:00AM-4:30PM with overtime possible, requiring hands-on work on the warehouse floor and strong communication with client representatives and drivers.

You will use a warehouse management system, maintain accurate delivery information, assist with dispatching, billing, and reporting, and support inbound/outbound processes

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience in a related role.
• Hands-on role with most time spent on the warehouse floor; may involve material handling, standing and walking.
• Strong customer service and communication with clients, drivers, and carriers to maintain service levels.
• Experience using a commercial Warehouse Management System (WMS) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.

Responsibilities

• Codes delivery manifests and prepares billing.
• Compiles statistical information from manifest data and prepares related reports.
• Inputs delivery information into computer.
• Assists with dispatching as needed.
• Handles owner/operator settlement problems.
• Contacts customers to confirm delivery details.
• Checks postponements and cancellations against delivery manifest.
• Prepares purchase orders for signature.
• Answers telephones.
• Types correspondence for department managers.
• Maintains the department files.
