Responsibilities
- Be responsible to monitor and support operations of warehousing, transportation, inbound and outbound forwarding for all branches in North America, coordinate, and enforce program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Analyze operation data and procedure, find improvements and train operators of SDS branches
- Maintains and improves KPIs and productivities for all scope of logistics operations and conduct improvement tasks and projects
- Research best practices of logistics operation in other SDS branches and companies and implement suitable best practices on SDS branches in North America
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Undertake other ad hoc assignments required by the line manager or Head of Team
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, especially in Excel using VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization including customers and carriers.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, while meeting deadlines
- Ability to multi-task with an exceptional attention to details
- Ability to travel 10% in US / Canada
- Relevant experience in corporate level warehouse operations or 3PLs logistics companies specializing in transportation of electronics in US is preferred
- 6+ years of relevant experience in warehouse operation within the logistics industry preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Travel %: less then 10% US / Canada Korean Bilingual preferred
