Kelly Services is seeking a reliable Material Handler for our Deer Park location to support laboratories and refineries. You will handle, transport, and track samples and materials, and support daily administrative tasks.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, safe handling of chemicals, strong data entry and clear communication, and meticulous attention to detail. This is a temporary, on-site position in Texas with a 6:00 am–6:00 pm schedule, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely with chemicals, petrochemicals, and petroleum products.
• Physical capability to lift items up to 50 pounds and perform frequent climbing, bending, and reaching.
• Proficiency with data entry and basic computer skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to read and comprehend labels and written instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions independently and work with minimal supervision.
• Problem-solving skills for handling routine tasks and standardized situations.

Responsabilités

• Pick up, drop off, distribute, and ship materials to designated laboratories and refineries.
• Log all samples accurately into the laboratory system.
• Properly retain and prepare samples for transportation.
• Dispatch courier services for urgent, "hot shot" shipments as needed.
• Conduct daily maintenance and basic upkeep of departmental company vehicles.
• Receive, distribute, and process all incoming packages from various couriers.
• Perform additional administrative duties as required.
