Job summary

Intuitive Machines in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a Logistics & Materials Specialist to manage receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and production kitting in a prototype development environment supporting spacecrafts and aerospace components.

You will coordinate material movement, maintain ERP records (Acumatica), perform cycle counts, prepare shipments, and partner with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve material issues while applying Lean and 5S principles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5-10 years of logistics, warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing support experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Acumatica preferred).
• Experience with inventory or asset management software (Boltline preferred).
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material handling.
• Understanding of serialized inventory, lot traceability, and configuration control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift materials and work safely in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

About the Position

The Logistics & Materials Specialist is responsible for receiving, warehousing, inventory control, production kitting, shipping, ERP administration, and tooling asset management. The role ensures production-ready material, complete hardware traceability, and accurate inventory records to support engineering, manufacturing, integration, and test operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience supporting prototype and low-volume manufacturing.
• Aerospace or spacecraft manufacturing experience.
• AS9100 or aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of export compliance and shipping documentation.
• Experience with barcode inventory systems.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a prototype development laboratory and manufacturing environment supporting spacecraft, lunar robotics and aerospace mechanisms.
