Job summary

Kent is seeking a Logistics, Materials & Tooling Coordinator to be based in Port Arthur, Texas. You will coordinate materials, logistics, tools, equipment, and personnel transportation to support safe, efficient project operations and commissioning activities.

You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, ensuring accurate inventory, tool control, and on-time delivery while adhering to safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, storage, movement, and delivery of project materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material tracking records.
• Manage custody and control of the project tool room, including tool issue, return, inventory, inspection, and tracking.
• Ensure tools are properly stored, maintained, calibrated, and accounted for.
• Coordinate material and tooling requirements with Commissiong, Warehouse, Procurement, Client, suppliers, and vendors.
• Support warehouse and laydown yard activities and maintain organized material storage.
• Track critical deliveries and resolve material or logistics issues affecting construction.
• Provide transportation for project personnel when required, using approved vehicles and following all site and HSE requirements.
• Maintain required logistics, tooling, transportation, and inventory documentation.
• Follow all the site project safety, security, and environmental requirements.
• Support construction teams with timely materials, tools, equipment, and logistics resources.
