Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Material Handler 1st to join our Sanford, NC team. You will stage materials to support production lines, perform material handling duties, and ensure accurate inventory transactions using SAP, including scrap and production reporting. The role requires understanding BOMs for all product lines in the area, lifting up to 50 pounds, forklift operation, and reliable communication to the line leader.

This full-time shift runs 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Forklift license and ability to operate safely.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Experience with SAP and production reporting.
• Understand BOMs for product lines in the area.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.; OT as needed.

We have an opportunity for a Material Handler 1st to join our Sanford NC team. You will be responsible for staging materials to support production lines, performing material handling functions, and ensuring accurate inventory transactions using SAP, including scrap and production reporting.

You will:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed

• Ensure that material is staged for the lines.
• Have the ability to understand the BOM's for all product lines in the area.
• Understand the department operating procedures.
• Provide feedback to line leader.
• Perform material handling functions as assigned.
• Follow all policies and procedures of Pentair Water Pool and Spa and the department.
• Computer literate, SAP/transaction literate (scrap/non-conformity/accurately report all transactions) production reporting
• Ability to accurately count.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic leadership skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and quick changeovers.
• Forklift experience/license required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Compensation

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly base pays $18.00 per hour, plus 8% of shift premium. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Shift- 2nd shift Mon- Friday with OT and weekends when needed

Hours: 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
