Job Description

The Logistics Manager North America is responsible for overseeing Infinity Global’s North America based logistics team. The manager will leverage excellent business processes, IT systems, employees, contractors, 3rd party logistics companies, and transportation vendors to provide cost-effective finished goods and raw material storage & transportation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years managing a global Supply Chain, including warehouse and transportation experience.
  • Proven experience in effectively managing and enhancing supply chains.
  • Experience with U.S. and International Customs compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing global ocean freight networks.
  • Knowledge of dangerous goods transportation regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with metric systems.
  • Willingness to constantly self-train on new procedures and systems.
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish logistics goals aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Manage logistics functions including distribution, warehousing, and transportation of inventory.
  • Coordinate transportation, distribution, and warehouse management to ensure inventory availability.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Manager Europe for shipment execution and resource coordination.
  • Provide KPI reports to monitor service, cost, and quality metrics.
  • Monitor and control the logistics budget.
  • Document logistics procedures and best practices.
  • Complete supply chain projects on time and within budget, collaborating with Account Teams.
  • Continuously analyze processes for improvements.
  • Motivate staff and develop effective working relationships.
  • Promote continuous learning and team growth.
