Job description · Open role

Logistics Manager — keep our international shipments moving from supplier pick-up to warehouse delivery .

Plan container loads, negotiate with freight forwarders, handle every delay and rollover, and keep costs, documents, and data accurate across the whole import chain.

International shipments Amazon & eCommerce Private Label 2+ years logistics experience Logistics Team

This is not a desk-and-spreadsheet role.

You’ll own international shipments end to end — from requesting forwarder quotations and booking space, to coordinating supplier pick-ups and tracking every order until it’s received at the warehouse.

When things change — and they will — you’ll be the one who evaluates the options and makes real-time decisions on shipment modifications, rerouting, and schedule adjustments, then keeps every internal stakeholder informed.

Behind it all sits accuracy: compliant customs documentation, correct landed costs, and current logistics data in our dashboards, ERP, and project tools.

What you’ll do

Shipment Coordination
  • Plan container loads, request and negotiate quotations from multiple freight forwarders, select freight partners, and book space
  • Coordinate pick-up with suppliers and track orders from pick-up to warehouse delivery
  • Secure quotes for regular and co-load shipments and negotiate rates
  • Share and validate shipping documents, and follow up on pickup, customs, delivery milestones, and ETD/ETA dates
  • Track ETD/ETA updates and manage schedule changes, delays, vessel rollovers, inspections, damages, and claims
  • Proactively resolve issues to minimize cost and transit impact
  • Evaluate options and decide on shipment modifications, rerouting, and schedule adjustments
  • Handle detention, demurrage, and port storage — and notify internal stakeholders of shipment changes in a timely manner
Compliance, Data & Cost Control
  • Prepare and validate commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, HS codes, and other customs documentation
  • Reconcile documentation errors with suppliers, freight forwarders, and the internal team
  • Keep ETD/ETA, warehouse delivery dates, booked vs. actual costs, and tracking information current in dashboards, forwarder websites, and project tools
  • Capture accurate and averaged landed costs, master carton and item specs, and duty rates in ERP and reporting systems
  • Reconcile and negotiate freight and duty invoices, flag variances, input amounts accurately, and route approved charges for payment
Warehouse Liaison & Continuous Improvement
  • Provide advance arrival notices and loading details, and coordinate delivery arrangements
  • Validate quantities to be delivered in the ERP and resolve goods‑receiving issues with the warehouse team and forwarders
  • Ensure the required documentation for smooth receipt and put‑away
  • Maintain freight cost benchmarks, highlight risks, identify bottlenecks, and propose cost‑saving opportunities

Good to know: you’ll deliver a concise weekly logistics status report — your regular chance to surface risks, bottlenecks, and cost‑saving ideas to the team.
