United Rentals is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead a team responsible for optimizing equipment logistics, fleet allocation and resource utilization. The role drives world-class delivery and cost-effective operations across the metro area with a focus on customer and employee satisfaction.

You will implement corporate and local logistics initiatives, lead a team including dispatchers and drivers, and recruit and develop talent while promoting safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 10+ years logistics and leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of logistics accounting, P&L and rental flow.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and systems.
• Results oriented with ability to influence others and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics team and provide leadership to deliver world-class service to customers.
• Motivate, coach, and train dispatchers and drivers to meet commitments and processes.
• Ensure compliance with labor agreements where applicable.
• Oversee performance management of direct staff and leaders.
• Recruit, hire, develop and retain top talent for diverse, skilled candidates.
• Promote safety culture and accountability across the organization.
• Own and lead logistics execution throughout the metro area.
• Staff drivers and dispatchers effectively and optimize staffing strategies.
