Job summary

Fleet Farm in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead three core teams: Warehouse, Freight and Stocking. You will drive staffing, training, and performance to ensure efficient backroom operations and accurate product placement.

You will also partner with HR to maintain qualified leadership, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and promote company loyalty programs and initiatives across the logistics function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Direct and motivate a diverse population including full-time and part-time team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Warehouse Team activities including receiving, yard operations, return to vendor programs, pick/pack and ship, and backroom ownership.
• Oversee Freight Team activities including receiving deliveries, staging, splitting trucks, and stocking as needed.
• Oversee Stocking Team to ensure staged product is stocked to planogram locations and presented per standard, including back stock.
• Work with human resources to staff logistics areas with qualified Team Leads and Team Members.
• Teach, train, coach, develop and mentor your team for consistent execution.
• Promote Fleet Farm customer loyalty program and other company initiatives.
