QPS Employment Group is seeking a Logistics Manager for a Spring, TX client. This hands-on leadership role manages the complete transportation process from order to delivery in a made-to-order manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include optimizing TMS, managing LTL/FTL/flatbed, carrier relationships, and cost control while driving continuous improvement. Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in logistics required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of logistics management experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Proven experience managing LTL transportation and asset-based carriers.
• Advanced Excel, reporting and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage LTL, FTL, flatbed, and 53' flatbed transportation.
• Develop and manage relationships with asset-based carriers and providers.
• Own and optimize the company's Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Coordinate transportation requirements across Sales, Customer Service, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing and Finance.
• Negotiate freight rates and manage transportation costs.
