Southland Industries is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations at our modular construction warehousing site. You will oversee shipments, traffic flow, and a logistics team in a high-volume environment.

The role focuses on driving efficiency, evaluating vendor performance, and collaborating with operations to manage international inbound shipments. Strong Excel and data analysis skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of logistics experience, including team leadership.
• Experience working in a union environment (preferred).
• Background in logistics or 3PL is a plus.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle traffic and shipments in and out of the facility.
• Manage local logistics movements between on-campus facilities.
• Drive efficiency and innovation in logistics processes.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on vendor performance to optimize operations.
• Partner with operations to manage inbound shipments from international suppliers.
