Job summary

K. Hovnanian Companies, LLC is seeking a Logistics Manager in New York to shape the logistics strategy and drive operational excellence from order to handover. You will partner with the Director of Logistics to transport and distribute products, implement best practices, and leverage technology for transparent, timely deliveries.

The role requires 7+ years in leadership, knowledge of JDE, and experience optimizing supply chains. Competitive salary and extensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant area (production/manufacturing, logistics and broker’s license).
• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management (+5).
• Knowledge of JDE, manufacturing, distribution and military experience in supply chain preferred.
• 5-7 years’ experience operating successful supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy to transport and distribute products from Divisional Distribution Centers to Communities, from order to handover to trade.
• Address on-site logistics as part of the distribution workflow.
• Implement best practices for inventory management and last mile delivery verification.
• Leverage technology to enable transparency and ensure timely, accurate delivery within budget.
• Integrate 3PL into the supply chain model where ERP drives activities.
• Establish repeatable, scalable operations procedures for warehouse operations, allocation load, route planning and electronic delivery verification.

We are a national homebuilder with a rapidly growing and expanding supply chain. As our business scales, we are working on continuously improving logistics operations to ensure efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness across our warehouse and transportation networks. We are looking for a Logistics Manager who will play a key role in shaping the future of our logistics strategy and driving operational excellence.

In Partnership with Director of Logistics, you will develop and implement strategy to transport and distribute products from Divisional Distribution Centers to Communities, responsibility starting from point of order to point of handover to trade, addressing on-site also. Implement Best Practices for inventory management and last mile delivery verification. Establish operation procedures for a new supply chain that are repeatable and scalable to include warehouse operations, allocation load and route planning and electronic delivery verification.
