Job summary

K. Hovnanian Homes is seeking a Logistics Manager to shape our national distribution strategy and drive operational excellence across our warehouse and transportation networks.

In partnership with the Director of Logistics, you will design and implement end-to-end strategies from order to handoff, optimize inventory, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery. The role emphasizes repeatable, scalable processes and integration of 3PL with ERP-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in production/manufacturing or logistics (broker’s license may be preferred).
• Minimum 7+ years in leadership with team development.
• Experience with manufacturing, distribution, ERP, and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy to transport and distribute products from distribution centers to communities.
• Collaborate with Director of Logistics to shape future logistics strategy.
• Implement best practices for inventory management and last mile delivery verification.
• Establish scalable procedures for warehouse operations, load allocation, route planning, and electronic delivery verification.

Job description

We are a national homebuilder with a rapidly growing and expanding supply chain. As our business scales, we are working on continuously improving logistics operations that ensure efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness across our warehouse and transportation networks. We are looking for a Logistics Manager who will play a key role in shaping the future of our logistics strategy and driving operational excellence.

In Partnership with Director of Logistics, you will develop and implement strategy to transport and distribute products from Divisional Distribution Centers to Communities, responsibility starting from point of order to point of handover to trade, addressing on-site also. Implement Best Practices for inventory management and last mile delivery verification. Leverage and implement technology to allow for transparency and ensure that materials are delivered timely, accurately, and within budget. Experience integrating 3PL into supply chain model where ERP drives activities. Establish operation procedures for a new supply chain that are repeatable and scalable to include warehouse operations, allocation load and route planning and electronic delivery verification.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in relevant area (production/manufacturing, logistics and broker’s license). Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management (+5). Knowledge of JDE, manufacturing, distribution and military experience in supply chain preferred. 5-7 years’ experience operating successful supply chain.
