Job summary

Kubota Manufacturing of America Corp. seeks a Logistics Manager to lead warehousing, inventory control, and cross-functional logistics initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will oversee safe operations, optimize parts flow across multiple facilities, and drive continuous improvement through Lean practices and cycle-count programs, aligning with production goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products and analysis of data utilizing Excel.
  • 5+ years of similar work experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • English language competency and legible writing ability.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and supervises warehouse team members, including hiring, training, assigning work, performance reviews, and handling employee relations matters.
  • Ensures a safe working environment, enforcing all safety policies, training requirements, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Promotes and ensures accurate inventory records (physical and virtual); partners with other departments to improve parts flow and minimize discrepancies.
  • Improves the Physical Inventory process, including guidance of the Cycle Count Team.
  • Implements and oversees a Proactive Cycle Count group, including writing procedures, training, and leading root-cause analysis.
  • Responsible for domestic and international receiving functions.
  • Manages Kanban and sequence-pick delivery operations across multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Oversees Cross-Dock operations.
  • Oversees Re-Pack operations.
  • Initiates and supports continuous improvement activities within the department.
  • Reduces cost and non-value-added activity through Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Understands and complies with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Tracks goals and strategic objectives to meet the business plan.
  • Participates in planning processes involving cross-functional teams.
  • Achieves financial objectives, including preparing the annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and taking corrective action.
  • Performs special projects and related tasks as requested

Core Responsibilities
Leadership, Supervision & Compliance
  • Leads and supervises warehouse team members, including hiring, training, assigning work, performance reviews, and handling employee relations matters.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products and analysis of data utilizing Excel
  • 5+ years of similar work experience in a warehouse environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • English language competency and legible writing ability
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Kubota products and assembly process
  • Previous experience in a JIT Supply Chain environment
  • Working Knowledge of FTZ Operations
  • Certification from APICS or CSCMP
  • Master’s degree in business, Supply Chain or equivalent
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience Equivalency (if applicable): Consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
