• 5–7 years of construction project management experience.

• Familiarity with construction industry standards, regulations, safety, quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field preferred.

• Reduce transportation costs by optimizing logistics processes.
• Oversee the layout for unloading, loading, and staging of trucks.
• Resolve production schedule conflicts prior to shipments.
• Develop a weekly report detailing demurrage charges and in-house issues.
• Maintain a daily log of scheduled shipments.
• Ensure the receiving/loading area is clean and organized daily.
• Communicate shipment statuses, product repairs, and inventory levels with key personnel.

As a Logistics Manager at Locke Solutions, you will be instrumental in maintaining a high level of productivity, safety, and quality. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in achieving operational excellence, setting clear expectations for your team, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reduce transportation costs by optimizing logistics processes.
• Oversee the layout for unloading, loading, and staging of trucks.
• Resolve production schedule conflicts prior to shipments.
• Develop a weekly report detailing demurrage charges and in-house issues.
• Maintain a daily log of scheduled shipments.
• Ensure the receiving/loading area is clean and organized daily.
• Communicate shipment statuses, product repairs, and inventory levels with key personnel, including QC technicians, Yard Managers, forklift drivers, patchers, and production staff.
• Provide top quality customer service by calling customers before delivery and updating them on shipment status.
• Work with the yard crew to determine the loading sequence for the next day's schedule and yard layout.
• Communicate delivery requests and miscellaneous requests with the sales staff.
• Forecast and schedule work three days in advance.
• Build strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and customers to communicate delivery statuses.
• Responsible for obtaining quotes from carriers for future deliveries.
• Oversee the coordination for delivery and pick-up of products.
• Organize the layout for structures in the yard and manage yard expansion.
• Organize and maintain inventory of rebar, cast iron, galvanized materials, BOM shed, accessories, and molds.
• Prepare pre-load spots for previous-day shipments.

• Achieve cost reduction in transportation and logistics.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient loading and unloading area.
• Resolve production and scheduling conflicts proactively.
• Deliver accurate and timely reports on logistics and demurrage charges.
• Ensure seamless communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and service.
• Develop and maintain a well-organized yard and inventory system.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and vendors.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with construction industry standards, regulations, safety, quality, and best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
