Job summary

Locke Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the QC team, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to quality standards for precast concrete products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with production and engineering teams, implement quality assurance measures, and maintain comprehensive records of QC activities to prevent defects and improve product reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in precast concrete.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and completing day to day operations of Quality Control programs; quality product inspections, documentation, etc.
• Delegating responsibilities and supervising Quality Control operations
• Assist the Quality Control Manager to develop, manage and monitor the Quality Control performance of the plant.
• Schedule/Administer and track Quality Control training to site personnel to comply with Quality Control programs.
• Conduct audits to evaluate the identifying areas of improvement and track continuous improvement initiatives.
• Training, motivating and coaching employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities.
• Other duties to ensure the overall quality and success of the business.

• Conduct regular inspections of precast concrete products throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects and deviations from specifications.
• Develop and implement quality assurance measures to prevent defects and ensure the consistency and reliability of our products.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
• Train and mentor quality control technicians to enhance their skills and competencies.
• Coordinate with external quality auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and optimize product quality and performance.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in the precast concrete industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and techniques.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to precast concrete manufacturing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality management software.
