About the Position:

Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist for the Joint Activities located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Only resumes up to a total of two pages will be accepted.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) executing complex air transportation operations and specialized airlift validations to ensure the secure movement of strategic personnel and assets; AND 2) formulating detailed operational movement plans and high-cost program assessments to establish long-range organizational transportation requirements; AND 3) analyzing complex logistics issues and regulatory policies to resolve critical transportation shortfalls and sustain operational readiness; AND 4) advising organizational leadership and coordinating with external agencies to establish joint logistics requirements and inter-service agreements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
