Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, a leading defense contractor, seeks an entry-level Logistics Management Analyst I to support RCOH trades teams in Chesapeake, VA. You will provide material handling and warehouse logistics support, ensuring efficient flow and compliance with audits while coordinating with shipyard operations.

Weekend/overtime may be required; 0–10% travel; must be a U.S. citizen and familiar with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 0 years experience with Bachelor's in related field or a High School Diploma with 4 years relevant experience.
• Must be detail orientated, able to work independently, and have strong communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to maintain positive control of material and procedures to pass audits.
• Must have experience operating powered lift trucks and loading/unloading material racks and trucks.
• Must have Inventory Management experience.
• Must be able to pass driver/DMV background check to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements.
• Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to meet marketing and financial objectives.
• Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, and related functions.
• Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.
• Integrates learning from customers and industry to continuously improve competitive position.
