Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies, Elkridge, MD, seeks a Logistics Management Analyst to manage the efficient flow of goods and information from origin to customer placement. You will ensure customer service objectives meet financial constraints while driving standard logistics improvements and data systems administration.

You will build strong relationships with strategic customers, support replenishment, and coordinate with procurement and carriers to optimize logistics

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
• 3 years of experience with supply chain or asset management
• Experience with logistics lifecycle management support operations
• Possesses working knowledge of DoD specifications and guidelines
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel long distances within CONUS approximately 10% of the time
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly

Responsibilities

• Performs daily shipping and receiving activities including monitoring of email and government sites for shipping notifications.
• Interacts with customers to complete order requests.
• Transports inventory to and from local destinations.
• Ensures inventory surveys are performed per procedures.
• Maintains accounting records and reconciles activity for reports.
• Maintains Travel Log and schedules facility/equipment maintenance.
• Maintains FedEx Shipping Log and assists with inventories.
• Tracks shipments to final destination and resolves issues in ODIN.
