Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is hiring for a backhaul/warehouse role in Chester, NY. You will unload trailers, break down product, and prepare pallets to meet warehouse specs. The role includes operating pallet jacks and forklifts, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Earn $21.00 per hour with a 2nd shift starting at 7:00 PM. Training is provided, and benefits begin from day one in many locations.

Qualifications

• General education diploma or equivalent; high school diploma preferred.
• Candidate should be able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Receive product, record codes, and break down pallets per procedures.
• Compile un-palletized products onto pallets.
• Move pallets from dock to correct aisles.
• Operate pallet jack, clamp machine, or sit-down forklift to move pallets.
• Maintain productivity to prevent back-log of product and trucks.
