Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Load Planner in Addison, IL to coordinate outbound/inbound shipments, balance capacity, and optimize routing using a Transportation Management System. You will ensure timely deliveries, manage bills of lading, and monitor performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in inventory, warehouse, and receiving is preferred (0–1 year).
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders and read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Load Planning & Routing: Build, plan, and assign shipments using TMS.
• Optimization: Assess weight, capacity and space to maximize efficiency.
• Coordination: Serve as liaison between dispatch, warehouse, drivers and customers.
• Compliance & Documentation: Validate BOLs, POD and regulatory adherence.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor loads and KPI data like cost per load and on-time pickups.
• Schedule inbound/outbound deliveries and inspect items vs orders.
• Process bills of lading and tracking numbers via carriers.
• Identify and resolve freight discrepancies and damages.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and proper loading dock operations.
• Serve as primary liaison between vendors, drivers and customer service.
