Job summary

Penske Logistics is recruiting a Logistics Trainee in Flint, MI. The program combines hands‑on training across multiple logistics functions with leadership development, preparing you for future management roles.

You will gain exposure to customer service, freight operations, dispatch, and documentation while working on real projects. Upon graduation you’ll be ready to lead a small team and contribute to continuous improvement across our systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, supply chain, data analytics, or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership in school, community, clubs or military.
• Authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation.
• Learn to manage driver deliveries, loading/unloading, cross docking and customer service.
• Prepare to lead a small group of hourly associates in a dedicated contract carriage operation.
• Ensure associates are trained, engaged, and aligned with customer objectives.
• Foster a safe work environment by following established safety and operational procedures.
