Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Logistics Management Trainee in West Point, GA, to join the Supply Chain Solutions division. The 9–12 month program blends on-the-job learning with structured logistics training and team collaboration, with potential relocation after training.

You will work a night schedule, support business needs, and engage in leadership development while gaining exposure to multiple locations and customer operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field.
• One year involvement in extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership skills.
• One year internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review all logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards.
• Establish work schedules and procedures; coordinate activities to ensure optimal shift logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI and customer service objectives.
• Collaborate with customers on all aspects of operations and report progress.
• Learn financial aspects of the job; develop reporting for profitability improvements.
