Job summary

3MD Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator/Analyst Lead in Fort Wayne, IN to ensure client orders are delivered per guidelines and within Denali processes.

You will support multiple resources, assist with movement and tracking from pre-planning to wrap-up, and document procedures as needed. As team lead, you will handle first-level escalations and training for new hires, coordinating shipments, analyzing movements, and improving efficiencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Logistics preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business-focused audiences.
• Strong Data Analytical abilities - able to take large quantities of data and distill it into actionable outputs.
• Strong Process Analytical abilities.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, outgoing customer focused with excellent customer service skills.
• Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment with minimal direction.
• Strong administrative abilities.
• Knowledge of IT terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that all projects involving services logistic services are successful.
• Assist with the movement and tracking of client orders as they move through the delivery cycle - from pre-planning to project wrap-up.
• Create, update, and document processes and procedures as needed.
• Interacts with all aspects of our organization; coordinate communication, customer satisfaction, and project coordination.
• Obtain tracking information of customers’ orders, transmit that information to our customers, and follow through to confirm delivery.
• Primary communicator regarding shipments to customers.
• Analyze shipment movements and suggest opportunities for improved efficiencies.
• Complete appropriate documentation needed to facilitate product delivery.
• Mitigate project roadblocks for delivery requests outside the standard process.
• Review logistical processes to identify critical paths and opportunities for improvements.
• Understand logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination.
• Develop understanding of customers' needs and take actions to meet them.
• Report progress and results of project plans.
• Direct team activities by establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, and providing guidance.
• Act as a subject matter expert and team escalation point.
• Conduct peer mentoring and training of the logistics team.
• Delivery of training to logistics coordinators/analysts.
• Provide direction to employees on departmental policies, HR portal use, customer communications, resources, and career advice.
