Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions in Huntsville, AL seeks an Information Technology Specialist to lead logistics data integration and engineering software interfaces for DoD networks. You will coordinate the IPT, develop schedules, and produce briefings and reports while ensuring DLMS-compliant data exchanges.

Required are 10+ years in IT automation and logistics interfacing, hands-on XML work, and US citizenship with a current Secret clearance.

Qualifications

10+ years IT Automation and Logistics Interfacing experience in a US Army/DoD context.
Hands-on software/data interface development: XML parsing, data payload handling, and cross-system export/import.
Participation in technical IPT meetings or coordination with engineers/tech staff.
Ability to lead lower-level engineers on projects and review performance vs costs.
US citizenship is required and a current Secret Security Clearance.
Experience with DLMS routing, transaction sets, and modernizing MILS to XML architectures.

Responsibilities

Coordinate an Integrated Product Team (IPT); develop schedules; track progress; maintain minutes; adjudicate comments.
Design, develop, and maintain XML schemas and data export interfaces for interoperability.
Architect system-to-system data exchanges; translate legacy data into DLMS XML/EDI formats.
Review contractor proposals; identify impacts on product support; keep stakeholders informed.
Provide briefings, presentations, and written reports to leadership and peers.
