Job summary

DSD Laboratories in the United States is seeking a highly qualified Business Analyst to support Air Force Logistics IT modernization efforts, interfacing with Headquarters AF/A4 and SAF IT stakeholders. This hybrid role requires two days minimum on-site at Joint Andrews Base, MD.

You will translate senior leader intent into executable plans, staff cross-organizational actions, develop senior-leader briefs, and help drive cloud modernization and portfolio initiatives across the Log IT Portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Staff Action Officer, MAJCOM/COCOM or higher-level Air Force/Joint staff a considerable plus.
• 2+ years in Project Management or Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement highly desired.
• 7+ years Air Force Civil Service/US military IT experience a plus.
• Familiarity with Air Force Logistics IT systems and the Log IT Portfolio a plus.

Responsibilities

• Staff, coordinate, and drive actions across Air Force and DAF organizations to on-time closure.
• Drive Logistics IT modernization efforts, focusing on cloud activity and requirements for the Log IT Portfolio.
• Advise on portfolio IT transformation priorities, including cloud migration and modernization roadmaps.
• Develop and oversee portfolio studies and business cases, advocating for IT infrastructure improvements.
