Job summary

IDEX is recruiting a Shipping & Receiving Technician II for Flow Management Devices to support daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving activities. Ideal candidates have prior shipping experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with teams.

The role emphasizes accurate material flow, collaboration with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and other departments, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for inventory transactions, receiving, or order fulfillment.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
• Enter receiving transactions and inventory movements in the ERP/MRP system to maintain accuracy.
• Pick, stage, and kit components using work orders and BOMs.
• Prepare, package, label, and process outbound shipments.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
